The Gesher School at Anshe Emeth

The Gesher School at Anshe Emeth offers children ages 8–11 a warm and caring environment to learn, explore, and grow Jewishly. Students will study Torah (the Hebrew Bible), Jewish culture and ritual while developing skills in Hebrew reading and tefillah (prayer).

Our program combines in-person and Zoom classes, allowing students to learn together in a variety of settings. Once a month, we will join with our sister program at Temple Israel of Catskill to celebrate holidays, participate in special events, and give our students the opportunity to meet and make friends in the broader Jewish community.
